ABRI releases updated ULAB Packing Guidance

Posted on: December 1st, 2017

ABRI is the industry focal point for technical guidance on battery collection, transport, and recycling. In response to the recent update to the Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG), ABRI has updated our guidance for packing used lead acid batteries (ULABs). The recent update to the code, ADG 7.5 has some significant changes, and these have been reflected in the most recent update to the guidance. As always, these guidelines should be used in consultation with your recyclers and with your regulators to ensure you minimise effort and maximize value.
